Free Question~Free Write/Type

Today, March 27th we will be doing a quick one day (possibly 2 day) assignment. With a majority of the class gone on FBLA here is what you are to do today:

Think of a deep question, any question at all as long as it is school appropriate, and post it to your blog. This question needs to allow for someone to type at least a 150 word response to the question. It can be anything from your favorite childhood memory to your most embarassing moment or even what you think about "love". Be creative, have fun, and most importantly put some good thought into it.

Once you have posted your question then you need to travel to your classmates blogs and respond to each question in 150 words or more. This is a free write type of day so just write/type to your hearts content and then move on (as long as it is at 150 words). Try and get to everyone's blog question that is present today and the rest of the class can play catch up tomorrow!

I have posted my own question to be answered already and I will be responding to yours as well! See mine at laneseslagle.blogspot.com

Writing for your future responses

Today and tomorrow (maybe Friday) will be spent responding to your classmates blogs. Here are the requirements, please read them closely as they are somewhat complex:

You must responded to 2 blogs of each question - that is a total of 20 responses i.e. 10 blogs and 2 responses for each of the ten is 20 or respond to bayless' question 1 and Michelle's question 1 then Jake's question 2 and Michael's question 2

You can only respond to a classmates blog 2 times i.e. Bayless could respond to Laura for question 2 and 6 but after those two she can't respond to any more of Laura's Writing for your future blogs.

Each response must be at least 5 complete sentences

Each response is worth 5 points (1 point per sentence and this assignment is worth 100 Pts)

Responses can include questions, comments about similar tastes or responses you have, a critique of the answer (say they didn't complete the question or answer it entirely)

So just a quick run down:
-respond to each Writing for Your Future blog question 2 times
- 5 sentence minimum on responses
- only respond to the same person twice
- you will do a total of 20 responses

Writing for Your Future

For the next 10 days we will be focusing on writing short essays for your future. These questions come from various college application/scholarship forms from around the U.S. Some are typical others are very unique. The biggest thing is each day your assignment will be worth 25 points and will have a word range that it must fall between. If you are gone one day you will need to get caught up. For today we will start out simple:

Question 1: What single word best describes you and why?

Requirements:
Creative Title - 5 points
Body between 200-250 words - 20 points
